"I will be the people's Governor..."
John Robitaille
Democracy is loud and noisy. But many of our elected officials don’t appear to be listening. We must turn up the volume so our voices can be heard and our freedoms can be protected. I will be the people’s Governor and I will listen to our citizens and ensure every individual has a voice at the State House. While individual citizens won’t always agree on the issues, everyone’s voice will be heard.
We must also scale back government and encourage self-reliance because the more we rely on government to solve our problems the more we lose our individual freedoms. I firmly believe our best chance for a promising future lies in smaller government, increased volunteerism, greater individual responsibility and more public-private cooperation.
With your help I will bring hope and optimism back to Rhode Island, engage all of our citizens and never give in to those who place self-interest over public interest. I will listen to you and work hard to make state government work for you.
